Membership of the Film Society of India is meant for Film Professionals (including writers, Directors, Cinematographers, Assistant Cinematographer and Assistant Directors working for films, TV, audio formats, digital media or any new media), who reside within the boundary of the Union of India and are above 18 years of age*.

Become FSI Member

One can become a FSI member by submitting the duly filled FSI Membership Form along with the required documents and applicable fees at FSI Office, or by sending the same through post. FSI Membership is approved only upon the verification of all the mentioned documents. Time Taken: 10-12 working days.

Putting down the idea. The client script

  • The story is conceptualized as a well-structured script outline. It maps the plot and all characters and sent to you, the client, for approval.
  • Film Society of India will use this outline as the blueprint & the roadmap for the extended script. It means that Film Society of India will continue to be your ghost co-writer. You review the pages, insert creative inputs and that all important go-ahead at every key stage.
